I decided to use Delicious as my social bookmarking site. I was asking myself "What is the difference between this and just typing what you want onto Google?" Well I see that these bookmarked sites are from millions that you would have to search anyway. What I mean is that others narrow it down for you. You still may think that the sites are not what you like but it's better doing all the work yourself. The tags that I used were just words that I can relate to the site. Others my not think the same way as me but I like bookmarking for myself more than for others. If I want someone to look at a site I could tell them what the tag is for the site.
In the classroom, this is a great way to organize and share sites with all of your students for things like review or if the need help with work. If the teacher or students find a site they just social bookmark it and now everyone has it. Makes the kids feel that they are adding to their friends' and own education.

I've created a Delicious account that I plan to use with students in the library. The thing I like most about Delicious is the ability to organize the sites I've chosen and have them be easily accessible by any one, from any computer, at any locations, 24/7! Can't beat that!
